Our trucks have portable sandblasting equipment to engrave monuments and markers in the cemetery without the risk of damaging the stones by taking them back to the shop. Lettering a Monument is an Art of Duplication
Many beautiful monuments have been damaged beyond repair as a result of improperly matching
the size and style of the lettering already on your family monument. Monumetlettering.com is a
family owned, operated and managed business. We employ the finest engravers to serve the needs
of our clients. We guarantee accurate duplication of your existing lettering. The letter style, size and font of the previous engraving are always maintained.
The content of information displayed by the existing inscription dictates in what format the new information should be engraved. For example, if the year of birth and year of death were used previously, you would want to repeat this format for the newer inscription. This duplication of information will determine the total number of letters and numerals to be engraved.
Our prices are based on a minimum charge for 20 characters (hand carved lettering will have an additional charge). Should inscriptions require the engraving of more than 20 characters, there is a charge per letter which is added to the minimum. We do offer a special price for engraving the year of death only (example: 1900).
The cemetery, in which this work will be done, may require the submission of a cemetery deed or a cemetery application signed by the lot owner, along with their fee. Cemetery fees vary per cemetery. Cemetery forms will be handled by our office. A money order or personal check will be required for the cemetery fees this check or money order will be made payable to the cemetery.
